Continuum - not responding

What would cause Ninjatrader to freeze/not respond as soon as i connect to the Continuum datafeed? It does this even with no charts open, confused...

Thanks for your post.

The first thing that comes to mind with something like this is a corrupted Config file. This usually only happens whenever there has been unexpected power loss to the PC running NinjaTrader, but I'd like to test this. To test please rename the NinjaTrader Config file and recreate your data feed by following the steps below.

• Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
• Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> Config.xml
• Right click on Config.xml and select "Rename." *Name it "OLDConfig.xml"
• Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh Config file to use

Next, create a new connection to the Continuum data feed by following the instructions at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php

If this does not work, I'd like for you to send me your log and trace files so that I can investigate further on my end. You can do this by writing an email to PlatformSupport(AT)NinjaTrader(DOT)com and referencing this forum post. Please put RE:JOSH in the subject line. You may follow the steps below to attach those files.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
