NT7 failed to verify license error box

It was working fine on Friday, but when I tried to connect today (Sunday) this happened. I disabled my anti-virus, firewall and rebooted my router, but it's still happening. Not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello JoeSkeeRock,

    Thank you for your note.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2140251" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
I look forward to your reply.

Good news, I just got on at 3:15 pm EST and it's working again. Not sure what happened, but I will keep those instructions tucked away in case it happens again. Thanks

As the message box says, occasionally both NinjaTrader license servers will be down, typically for maintenance of some kind, typically on weekends.

NinjaTrader.exe fails to start if there is no internet connection available or if both NinjaTrader license servers are down.

(In addition, NinjaTrader.exe fails to start if another instance of NinjaTrader.exe is already running.)

That may be what happened, but if that's the case, why would they be doing maintenance during the Globex session on Sunday evening?

Maybe it had something to do with those new fancy dancy micro futures thingies that were becoming available soon?

Maybe a reboot was needed and you got caught by that downtime?

I grant you that whatever maintenance was needed should have completed before the start of the Globex session.

Maybe this was a case of 'sh*t happens' due to some unexpected issues that arose during the earlier pre-Globex
            scheduled maintenance window?

Discovery of unexpected issues during a maintenance window can easily force the extension of that window
until the new issues are also resolved.

            Who knows ...
