How to Open Control Center in Safe Mode

How do I Open the Control Center in Safe Mode? It usually connects to my connection automatically. But I want to have the control center open without connecting to a connection.

Hello denalek2419,

Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:

• Loading workspaces.
• Connecting on start-up.
• Loading custom assemblies.
• Getting instrument updates from the server.

To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:

• Exit NinjaTrader.
• Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
• Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
• You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

I tried that. The control center does not open. When I retry to click the NT7 icon. It says NT 7 is already open. Then I have to go to task manager to close process.

Unfortunately this option is only available with NinjaTrader 8. So I can disable connect on startup please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.
