We are excited about the announcement from CME regarding the new Micro E-mini Futures contracts and expect to offer these products to customers right away. We are still awaiting certain details from the exchange but anticipate communicating full details once they are available.

From the platform perspective, NinjaTrader 8 would receive automated database updates. NinjaTrader 7 will require an update to the platform. We do not have a hard set timeline for this instrument support, but expect these products to be available.

I would guess no one knows. I'm not sure why NT7 would need an update myself.

You should be able to add things manually.

And since there have been no updates since January - they aren't ready!

Well, my attempted setup failed. Nothing coming through. 7.x.39.x

I updated and currently on NT version 7.0.1000.40 however no ES micros found in the instrument manager. Seeing several E-micro currency pairs though.

I just did it myself, making sure you perform reset instruments step, then search for 'micro' in instrument description, micro Emini will be listed at the very top of all micro instruments.

nkhoi, if you're still online - what NT version are you using and what data feed ?

I've tried the re-set twice and the Micros aren't listed.

I updated and nothing in the instrument list, and I did reset.

I have e-micro $ pairs, and mgc and mnf.

I reset in 7.xxxx.40.0

now it is there.

after some more playing around, removing my test instrument, I got it to stream.

Tried executing a MES trade and getting Message "....Rejected at RMS - Product code not permissioned(MES) affected Order:...."

But I assume this is something my broker has to permit !?
