v6.5 install wizard problem

Getting the following error msg after the install dir creation:

NinjaTrader 6.5 -- Error 1402. Could not open key: UNKNOWN\.ntbk. System error 5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Then it asks to cancel or continue but it fails anyways..

I am logged on to XP as a membet of the Administrators Group

I DID make sure there were no traces of previous install before this ..

Any ideas ??

Does this happen as you connect to Market Replay?

no .. just after it tries to create thr install directory ..

It did'nt even do that though ..

btw, alredy have installed ms net framework 2.0 ..

Not sure what happened. Please try this:
- uninstall NT via control panel
- manually delete folders (in case they still are there)
* <program files>/NinjaTrader 6.5
* <my documents>/NinjaTrader 6.5
(Note: this will delete all are custom settings/data/trade info etc)
- clear your browser cache
- install NT6.5 again from our web site and make sure you don't try to install it on a network drive

proceeded as you suggested but same results ..Install wizard fails ..

installed version 6.0 ok ..

what's with v6.5 ??

Sorry, we are out of ideas for now. We never had any similar report to yours, not would we know what would cause that. May be you could try on a different machine?!?
