blank 'ruler' tool

Whenever I use "Ruler" tool, the result is blank. I think it is due to having chart background as black and text color as black. Is there anyway I can change the font color of "ruler" tool to some other color such as white. That way it displays the result in "Ruler" tool. Please help me with it. Thanks

Hello sukhob,

Can you first right click in your chart->Properties->Change the chart background to another color such as grey. Next draw using the Ruler tool then double click on the Ruler line which will open the Properties window->Select new colors for Text color and Color->Click Apply->Click Set Default then click Ok.

Once finished setting the Default then change your chart background color back to Black.
