    .wav sounds

i have been googling ''.wav sounds'' but every website is complicated and confusing to me. i need
a library of just basic simple sounds like buzzers, horns, doorbells, etc.
any/all help will be greatly appreciated.

We do not maintain a library of sounds other than the built-in sounds of the platform, however, I encourage other forum users to provide any resources they may have.

You'll want to make sure that the wav files are in 'PCM' format. If you provide more specific information about how you're trying to use these custom sounds, I may be able to provide more information on how to implement those custom sounds into NinjaTrader.

For use in custom NinjaScript programming, see the help guide page below:

joemiller, be aware that you can also create your own custom speaking wav files using espeak from espeak.sourceforge.net.

Additionally, I personally hate NT's Alert1.wav which is a standard for many indicators. Rather than try and redo all those indicators, I take another wav file that is quieter and rename it to Alert1.wav Makes things a lot better.

As far as wav files needing to be PCM format -- I would not know how to check that but so far I have not had any issues with files I have found.

Last item, take a look at Futures.io resource sharing site. I do not think there is a specific wav file thread but some people post sounds with their indicators.
