Can't squeeze chart (bar spacing), reproducable bug in NT7

    See picture.

When I open chart with only 1 Data series, everything is fine. I can squeeze chart until bars blend together. When I add a second data series, the smallest spacing between bars is what you see on the picture. The chart becomes unreadable. I reproduced it with a 100% success. Also tried opening 2 series at the same time etc, with no success. It's not due to lack of data.

To reproduce, simply open a chart with more than one data series.

This is the latest version .39 version of NT7

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

I see that you're running an older version of NinjaTrader 7. The newer version contains many critical updates to the database. Please update NinjaTrader 7 and reset your instruments:

First, to update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
    • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Select 'NinjaTrader 7'
    • Select 'Download'
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Lastly, to reset your instruments, please follow the steps below:
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection

Once that is completed please also roll over to current contracts.

Please follow the instructions below to roll over the expiration date of a futures contract.
    • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools> Instrument Manager
    • Highlight the contract you wish to rollover on the left side of the Instrument Manager window
    • Press the '>' button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
    • Press the '<' button and the instrument should re-appear with the front-month expiration date
    • Select 'OK'
    • Select the updated contract in the Instrument drop-down menu within your currently opened windows (Charts, SuperDOMs, etc).

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over rolling over a futures contract.
To view contract rollover, expiry dates, and other trading events click the link below.
Please let me know if you continue to experience the same.

I see. There is a new version. I just newly installed .39 a few weeks ago and it was .39 that was offered for download behind the same link that you gave above.

If I don't report back, then he issue is fixed in the new version.
