Syncing strategy to account

Hello- On the question of syncing, can someone please fully explain the following statement "When your strategy starts it will check for any active orders previously generated by the strategy on your account and cancel those first."

What exactly is meant by "active orders previously generated"?

Hello ciro1963,

When you run a strategy it may place orders in real-time.

Then you may disable the strategy and at a later time re-enable the same instance of the strategy.

Any orders that were placed in real-time the first time the strategy was enabled are previously generated orders the second time the strategy is enabled.
