Problem with import of tickdata

I wondered if anyone could help me on this one

As far as I can tell the format for importing tick data into NT is:

yyyyMMdd HHmmss;price;volume
[FONT='Arial','sans-serif'][/FONT]


As you can see there is a space between the yyyymmdd and the hhmmss but a semicolon between the other parts of the data. My historicaI data provider can produce data with semicolons between the fields but can't produce semicolons between the fields except the date and time which seems to need to be blank.

My provider is Tick Data.

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, the historical data needs to be in the specific format you mentioned. You would need to modify the historical data from your provider, so it reflects the required format.

Ok, thanks Jason - thought that might be the case - I'm struggling to find a provider of tick data that's compatible with NT for FTSE futures that goes back to July 98. Any suggestions welcome
