IB account not available for trading

Hi,

I have a live license and I am connected to Kinetick (first) and IB gateway (second). I receive the account data (net liq etc) for my IB account.

When I run a strategy I can only select sim101 and not my IB account. What could be the reasons?

Can you confirm Global Simulation Mode is unchecked?

In NinjaTrader 7, you can find this in the file drop down menu from the control center.
In NinjaTrader 8, this is under the Tools drop down menu.

Thank you for your response. That solved it. Is there a way to uncheck Global Simulation mode before startup so that I don't have to uncheck it everytime.

Hello,

You can change this setting by re-inserting your license key into the platform. Go to Help>License key and select and cut your license key. Then paste it back in and press ok.

You will see a prompt asking you whether or not you want to start in global simulation mode. Select no if you do not want it to start in sim mode.
