Question on Historical Data via IB

Hello- I recently subscribed to IB streaming or real time data . Does the Ninjatrader software store this data for historical purposes for backtesting and running algorythms in general? Or is the data lost permanently? I'm having problems pulling up charts using the IB connection only.

Thank you for your note.

This would depend on a couple factors. For example, historical tick data is not provided with IB connections in the NinjaTrader platform.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2040748" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
