ATM orders - split after modifying?

Hi - if I enter on ATM orders as follows:

Order#1 - Filled @ $100, stop @ $95
Order#2 - Filled @ $101, stop @ $96

I modify my stop order and move the stop for order #2 to order #1, so both stops are now @ $95.

Let's say now I want to move the stop for one of the orders to $96 - however, I can't modify the qty, I get a message "you can't change the size of a pre-defined strategy stop/target order". In other words, once orders are grouped they can't be ungrouped, and I would have to cancel and resubmit two new stop orders? Is there another way to split these orders?

Thank you for the note.

You can modify the position of your orders from the Orders tab of the Control Center by using the +/- buttons. You can do this directly from Chart Trader on NinjaTrader 8 as well.

Thanks but I want to modify orders separately once they have been grouped together - is there any way to do this?

Thank you for the reply.

NinjaTrader will handle this logic for you. If you have two grouped orders of 1, and you increase/decrease the price of any one of them from the orders tab of the Control Center, then it will split them back into two separate orders. And if you reverse the action, NinjaTrader will group them back together again.
