Strategy connection with Multiple Connections/Accounts

Hopefully what I describe with be sufficient information to get my problem resolved.

I am currently running NT v7.0.1000.37 (Multi-Broker Live)

Currently I have 2 accounts that provide me data for use with my strategy development:

1. Continuum (NinjaTrader Brokerage)
2. IQFeed for Forex

I have one workspace with futures charts and another with a single forex chart. It appears to me when I enable the Shark Indicators Blackbird strategy, the connection listed under the "Strategies" tab in the NT Control Center is always for the first account that was connected. I have tried the connecting both accounts in varying orders and this appears to be the case.

When I enable Blackbird, I get a message stating the futures data is not available if IQFeed is the first connection and vice versa (see attached).

I read the NT help content about Multiple Connections (https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...onnections.htm) but still I am missing something.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you for your note.

The helpguide for NT7 under multiple connections states,

Data requests will only fall over to the secondary connection when the primary connection does not support the instrument class being requested.

Both Continuum and IQFeed provide futures as well as forex data, so data requests will not fall over to the secondary connection.

To resolve the issue, you may consider moving to NT8 where you can specify preferred connections by product type, or you may consider consolidating your data subscriptions to one provider.
