Can't delete an indicator that I created.

I have a custom indicator (#1), which I created, that is useless and I am trying to delete it. I am getting the error message that it cannot be deleted because it is referenced by another custom indicator (#2) which I created (also useless). Custom indicator #2 is alread gone (I must have deleted it in the past) but I am unable to delete #1 because apparently NT still thinks that it is being referenced by #2. Can you give me any help on resolving a dependency that I don't think exixts anymore? I tried recreating a dummy #2 indicator with the same name and then deleting it but that didn't help. Thanks.

NT only will give you this message as there really is another reference to #1. It e.g. come from a strategy.

You're correct!!!! I ddn't even think to look at my strategies. I've now deleted the strategy and the indicator and all is well. Thanks.

Indicator not called by any strategies

I am having the same problem. I created an indicator and NT will not let me delete it. Is there a way to determine what NT thinks is dependent on this indicator?

You will just have to go through your files and find the references. You can use Ctrl+F to search through your file.
