IB Region

[Stainless2000]

It appears the newest version of IB requires a region choice which is causing the password to be input where the username goes and nothing is being put in the password. I can do it manually, but is there a way to fix it?

I am assuming this is happenning when you connect. If so, please go to Tools>Account connections and Change your IB connection information.

I have. The info is correct and has been working prior to today (when I updated TWS) for sometime. I don't see what you want me to change to account for the changes in IB.

You do not have to make any changes if you want to continue logging in manually, but if you would like the auto login to start working again I would suggest trying the suggestion listed above and adjust your user name and password in NinjaTrader to match the new format in IB.

Also, please confirm that you are on TWS 887. If not please remove TWS in your Windows Control Panel then download 887 here:

I guess I will just do it manually. There is no place in account connections to enter the region which is now appearing in TWS above the Username field. So now I just choose America, Username, and password which works fine, but will not allow autologin to work for me. I am using 887.2

We are currently working on this and will be back with you as soon as we have more information. For now please connect to IB by manually logging into IB first then connect to IB via NinjaTrader.

Please logon to TWS then shut it down. Then restart TWS --> Does the "Region" choice now go away? It does on my two machines here. If yes, NT autologon will now work.
