Horizontal Line

Hi.

When I go into Properties of a drawn horizontal line there is an option labelled
"Attach to:" When I chose ...(All Charts) the line appears in all the charts which I may have open for that instrument. Sofar so good.

I then chose the indicator, in this case an SMA20 but could not see a difference. The line remains where I placed it when I thought it would move with the SMA20.

What does it actually do when I chose "Attach to: SMA20"?

Thank you for your post.

Glad to assist. The Attach to menu will enable the drawing object to be plotted in the selected panel(s). For the SMA, this may require plotting in a secondary panel for it to show up as an additional drawing object.

From your screen shot, the same panel that contains the CL data also contains the SMA, so selecting either in this instance would perform the same action.
