Hello.

How to create an alert for all instruments in the analyzer defined as follows?

For long alert:

- A few bars ago, price crossed up (EMA(8) AND EMA(19)) AND low of the bar was above (EMA(8) AND EMA(19))
AND
Current price is hitting EMA(8). (aka price retraces back to EMA(8) )
The, fire alert

For short alert is the other way around.

You will need to do this in the Strategy Wizard. It is not possible in the Market Analyzer:

You can do what I do and color code this in Market Analyzer for each condition. When all colors agree for each of your condition then that triggers a "visual signal". Based on your strategy you can do an audio alert in Market Analyzer for when "PRICE = EMA(8)" and all other conditions are satisfied.

I can help you with this. But first, a few questions.

(1) What time frame are you trading on?

(2) When price retraces back to EMA(8) is the candle green or red at that time for you long trade?

I could not get the attachement. Is there a simple way to set an alert on the strategies that come with NT. I am new to this and cannot program.

Thanks for the information. I want to confirm that even though there is an existing stategy that comes with NT. One still needs to develop another strategy for use with the analyzer to alert on the existing strategy. No need to respond if what I'm saying is correct
