Additional new installation NT7

Hello,

I can´t find in the forum how to do a new installation NT7 but keeping the installation before as well in folder documents so that one can switch between older installations and newer ones. This way one can be sure that scripts or indicators are not lost and can be catched from another installation or used and compiled directly by switching back to the older version.

This way it is possible to start an older NT7-installation when changing the names of folders eg from "NinjatraderOld2" to "NinjaTrader" and before "NinjaTrader" to eg "NinjaTradernew"

I had done in the past, but I can´t remember exactly and can´t find in the forum.

Hello Tony,

Your settings and data are saved in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder. The folder named "NinjaTrader 7" within the Documents folder is the folder that NinjaTrader will use. If you rename this folder to a different name and then install NinjaTrader again, it will install a new Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder which will not have your saved settings and data. If you rename folders within the Documents folder, please make sure NinjaTrader is shut down.

thank you for your reply. So, I do not delete, uninstall or remove anything. Only step 1 rename current NinjaTrader7 and then step2 installíng. Yes? Can you please provide me the correct link for NT7 installation.
