Close out trade and am not getting paid the right amount

Hi,

I just took 77 ticks in HG copper.. but for some reason i did not get paid out correctly. I had a 200$ profit already today and after I closed out my 77 tick hg trade.. it seems to have paid me a total of 675. NEED HELP PLZZ

Hello mrxdaviepoo,

Can you please go to Control Center-->Account Performance-tab. Set the From and To dates so they capture the HG trade and click Generate. Select the Trades-tab and check if PnL is reported as expected.

Where do you see the figure of 675?

Do you trade the Sim101 account or a live account?

So basically the hg trade says entry price 2.9595 and exit 2.921. 1.30% profit. but cumulative profit is -1.25%?

Can you please set Mode to Currency in the Account Performance-tab and check if you see a profit of $962.5.

The HG uses a tick size of 0.0005 and a point value of 25000. So that is $12.50 per tick.

2.9595 and 2.9210 have a difference of 0.0385 which 77 ticks. 77 * 12.50 = 962.5

My realized PNL was up 400$ prior to closing the HG trade. now it says realized PNL 675 on the accounts tab section

Can you please tell me to what data feed/broker you connect in NinjaTrader.

If you restart NinjaTrader, do you see Realized PnL as expected in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab?

Hi, I just restarted and no it does not. I use Ninjatrader Continuum. Also, can you explain what MAE, MFE, ETD means on the account performance tab?

Realized PnL in the Accounts-tab is not calculated by the NinjaTrader platform. It is loaded this way from the connected broker technology - NinjaTrader Continuum. Please see the link below.

I suggest to contact our NinjaTrader brokerage to check if a profit of 962.5 has been added to your trading account. You can contact them at brokeragesupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Unfortunately I do not have access to your trading account so I cannot check this.
