stop loss without ATM.

Hi,

i wanted to know how to manually input a stop loss without using a price target and without using the ATM strategy.

For example,

Lets say,

Crude oil is trading at $50.01
I go long @ 50.01
No price target
Set stop loss at @ 49.37 - i believe a short limit order

Is there a way to do this thats not relatively burdening??

I am on ninja trader 7 with the dynamic super dom

Yes, you would submit a sell stop market or sell stop limit order at 49.37 in your example. You can find instructions to submit various order types in the SuperDOM at the link below.
