    Removing Bad Tick

    Hello,

how can I remove a bad tick or a missprint in my minute based chart. The data were loaded from IB and also reloading does´nt help. So I´d like to change the low of 1 special Minute.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello Joerg,

Could you please go to Tools-->Historical Data and delete historical data that contains the bad tick.

Open up a new chart and check if the bad tick persists. If so, there is nothing we can do. NinjaTrader acts like a radio receiver in that we display data as it is provided.

Thanks for your fast answer. If I delete data I always have to delete a whole day, right? A missing minute would´nt matter for me.

Is there a difference between deleting the data and reload them from IB and just reloading the data? Because the second possibility I tried always.

Another idea: Would it be sucessful to export the data as ASCII, delete them and reimport the corrected ASCII-data?

Correct, you will need to delete data for a whole day.

Not really a difference, just wanted to verify if the bad tick persisted this manner as well.

I believe this should do the trick. Let me know if this will work for you.

          Hello,

I´ve tried to remove the bad tick via reimporting the corrected ASCII-File. Unfortunetely the import does´nt work. I get the message that there is a format failure in line 6. Seems it does´nt understand the half pip?

Or is there anything wrong with my country settings (german)?

          Thanks a lot

            Try

            20080901 010600;1.9879;1.98845;1.9878;1.98845;1

            See if that works.
