Commission issue

I set up a commission amount, which I assumed as being each side, and I see it registered correctly when I bought one contract and sold one contract without a strategy. When I initiated a 12 contract trade under a strategy the commission recorded was only one times not twelve times the commission entered under, tools, options, commission. And when I sold the position under flatten everything. the commission amount was only reflected in three of the seven executions to flatten the 12 contracts.

I think I have found the problem, I should set up the commission as level defined per unit, correct?

Well. How have you defined the commissions so far? Have you defined them for all your instruments for the proper feed?

I entered, in the Futures - Patsystems column, $30 minimum and defined it in commission levels as 30/1 for 1 unit

Please see the attached screen shot of the commissions I have entered into Tools>Options>Commissions. Using this setup I get 30 x quantity for commissions.

Hello,

Yes it is per side. In your executions tab it will show 30 per unit on the entry and 30 per unit on the exit, which equals 60 (30 per side).

In your Account performance the commissions will only be applied to your report if you have Tools>Options>Apply commmissions to PnL calcuations checked. These two links may help:
