I trade on the ZB market using RENKO bars set at 2Renko.
I set up and ATM strategy to have a 2 tick profit target and a 2 tick stop loss whenever i enter a trade.
Each tick is valued at $31.25.
What ends up happening is that the market reachers either my profit target or stop loss (meaning that the market value goes up or down 2 ticks - $62.50) and then it stays at that value, but my stop loss or profit target doesn't kick in. The trade remains open, until the market ticks 1 more time in the correct direction. It is as if it needs 3 ticks to reach a 2 tick target.
Also, if it remains at 2 ticks above the price that I entered at (so say it hovers at 62.50 profit) and i manually close the trade, I only get 31.25 out of it.
Do you know why this is? Is this a NT error? A Market error? Or is it the way that ZB market works on 2Renko for some reason?
