Replay is different between NT7 and NT8?

Why might replay data be different between NT7 and NT8?

I'm testing a strategy. When I replay it for the month of August, I get a drastically different result when I test the same strategy in NT7 vs NT8, and of course, I don't know which one to trust.

Digging into this, I replayed one day, Aug 7, with no strategy. I'm using a 6500 volume chart. Though the movement is the same between NT7 and NT8, I can find differences between the two as well. I'd expect NT7 and NT8 replay to be exactly the same. Here in this image, you can see differences between NT7 and NT8 at the same moment.




Why is this? And more importantly, how can I know to trust testing results, when I get different results on the same days, depending upon if I'm replaying in NT7 and NT8?

Thank you for your post.

In NinjaTrader 8 it appears your data loaded further back and may be historical data. If you open the Data Series window in the charts on both platforms are all settings the same? The biggest concerns would be the Days To Load and the 'Break At End Of Day (EOD)' option in NinjaTrader 8.
