Ability to set strategy properties

Hi, everytime I start up NT and go to run some strategy analysis, it always defaults to 12:00 - 12:00. But I never use this setting. I always set them to 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM PST (US futures trading). There are some other properties I would also like to change the default to also, like exclude weekends = true.

I came across the Initialize() property for IncludeCommission = true;, but I wonder if the other strategy properties are exposed? like session trading time, etc...

Hi Ben,

I am currently using a time filter in the strategy, but if I leave the defaults at 12:00 - 12:00, isn't the analyzer still loading and stepping through the entire time frame anyway?

I don't know of a real way of gauging what is exactly going on since, as soon as I start the backtest, NT appears to lockup and there is no time remaining or % complete bar.

However setting the session ends and begins times as defaults is not supported. Once you restart NT the times are set back to the factory defaults. However after you modify them once NT remembers the last one until you close the platform again.

If you leave the session begin and end times to 12:00 AM and 12:00 AM, it will still load 24/7 data. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change these default settings for the Strategy Analyzer.
