Zig-Zag Indicator Not Working; it's not plotting on the chart please advice

Thank you for your post.

So I may investigate this matter further please answer the following questions.

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)
• Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
• What instrument(s) have you selected? If a futures instrument, what expiry is selected? (Example: ES 09-17)
• What period type is selected for your chart(s)? (Example: Tick, Minute, Day, etc.)
• Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

Thanks for your reply.

The text on the bottom right corner of your chart reads - ZigZag can't plot any values since the deviation value is too large. Please reduce it.

I reduced the deviation value to 0.001 in order for the plots to begin appearing on my chart of the $EURUSD when using the Points deviation type.

Take into consideration that the point value of the EURUSD instrument in NinjaTrader is set at 100,000. Fifty percent of 100,000 is a very large deviation value.
