Had to reload free version after a week

I had to reload the free version of Ninja Trader and enter the license key again after 1 week. Is this normal for the free version?

You can use the Free version as long as you like until you're comfortable to go Live.

Why did you need to uninstall your version? Was there an error message?

I did not have to uninstall NinjaTrader.

I am using windows XP, I click "Start", click on NinjaTrader and then it asked for the license key again. After that, it started loaded re-installing the software.
