parameter setting on initialization time

all I want to do is set up a default for 9:30 AM on the time editor key. it is currently set at 12:00:00 AM

Thank you for the post.

Because this is a DateTime object, you can use the standard DateTime constructors to create the default time and then set it from State.SetDefaults:

if (State == State.SetDefaults)
{
	dMar****pen = new DateTime(2017,07,01,09,30,00,00);
}

You could additionally make it smarter and use NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.Now instead of the hard coded values if you wanted it to pick the current day and the default time.

if (State == State.SetDefaults)
{
dMar****pen = new DateTime(NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.Now.Year,07,01,09, 30,00,00);
}

In general, this is where you should initialize all of your public properties to their default values.
