    Hello Brian,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, you can do this using the DrawRegion() method: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...drawregion.htm

You also might want to review an indicator that has been uploaded to the NT7 file sharing area the provides shading between bollinger bands. If it does not suit your needs then perhaps it can give you a good starting point: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...d=4&linkid=350

      question

Do I just edit the bollinger band indicator with this and save as a new indicator?

Can I edit in Ninjatrader Direct? I do not see "edit ninja script"

      thanks,

      Brian

        Hello Brian,

        Thanks for your reply.

If you have the direct license then no you would not be able to edit in Ninjascript. You would find it in the NinjaTrader Control center under Tools>Edit Ninjascript

The process would be to open the Bollinger indicator and then do a save as giving the save as a new indicator name. You would then edit/modify the copy.

If you are familiar with C# programming then it is just a matter of editing the code to set up your conditions to draw the regions and then providing all of the parameters needed. If you are not familiar with C# then it would be a fairly difficult task. For your understanding, in the support department at NinjaTrader we do not create, debug, or modify code for our clients.

If you are interested in having this coded for you, we can refer you to 3rd party coders that can provide that service.
