DrawObjects.Count returns zero

I have a 3rd party indicator on a chart that draws some Rays on it.

I'm trying to iterate over these objects.

When I call DrawObjects.Count I get 0

One thing I noticed is that when I look at the drawing properties on the chart by double clikcing on them, the Attach To: is read only. When I draw from my own indicator, the attach to is not read only.

1. Why is the Attach To read only?
2. Could that be related to the reason the DrawObjects is seeing these drawings?

Drawing objects that are drawn by an indicator are locked and cannot be manually edited.

Would you like to submit a feature request to allow drawing objects drawn by scripts to be manually editable?

Drawing objects that are drawn by one indicator, will not appear in the DrawObjects list of another indicator, as that other indicator will not be able to modify drawing objects from other scripts.

Would you like to submit a feature request to allow indicators to modify drawing objects drawn by other indicators?
