Position chart programmatically

Hi,

This may seem like an odd request however there is a method to my madness.

I need to find out if it is possible within an indicator to modify at which time the chart is located on the X axis?

I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :

This user would like a date selector which can determine where the chart's X axis is centered

I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.

Can anyone offer some further assistance? I came across ChartControl.LastBarPainted in another post and would like to know how I can position the chart on the X axis using this? For example ChartControl.LastBarPainted -10.
