    Ninja generated code

When I rename/remove variables in my code, I often get the error that the old variable that no longer exists "does not exist in the current context." This occurs in the Ninja generated code.

How do I eliminate this error without editing the Ninja gen code?

    Thank you.

    Hello imalil,

Compile the script using the NinjaTrader NinjaScript Editor. This should cause the NinjaTrader generated code to re-generate.

I compile everything from the indicator itself. I don't know how to do it any other way.

Could you tell me how to Compile the script using the NinjaTrader NinjaScript Editor?

      NT7, W10 64 bit.

      Thank you.

        Hi imalil,

Does this mean you are using Visual Studio or another 3rd party text editor to modify the script?

To open a script in NinjaTrader:
        • Click Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator...
        • Select the indicator -> click Open
        • Right-click within the code area -> select Compile
