chart controled by indicator

I have a custom indicator I am working on which makes only sense if run on a bar chart. Besides I'd like to help my user by defaulting a few chart settings like trading hrs, exclude SatSun and the like. Is there a way to do that from code in the indicator?

You can check Time[0] property which has properties/methods for checking calendar days I am sure. Check the DateTime class/structure in C# DOC.

For checking chart type, this currently not supported.

You can not control the chart properties.
