    beginner questions; versioning and compiling

Developing my own indicator I run into 2 'problems'. So, I'm wondering:

    1) Is it possible to ensure that while compiling I only compile what is open in the script editor? There have already been a couple of times I wasted time searching for an error that was in another file then working on.

    2) Is there an easy way to version script? I try to build something that works and then slowly add features. If one of those additions don't start work out as hoped I like to go back to a previous, working version. I tried a few things, but it looks like if I don't use the wizard I loose my original and/or the filename doesn't match the indicator name any more making it a bit of a mess.

    Hello,
There is not a way to compile just one indicator or strategy in NinjaTrader.
Version scripting is not natively built into NinjaScript. We do recommend to save copies of the code though. You can save a copy by right clicking in the NinjaScript Editor and select Save As and save the code with a different name.
If we can be of any other assistance please let us know.
