Button to hide price series

Is there a way to override the plot method so I can control when candlesticks are plotted on the chart? I have an indicator that plots stuff behind price, but it's hard to see sometimes and I need to hide the price quickly. How do I do this? I have already overwritten the plot method to draw on my chart.

You can control the colors of the bar with BarColorSeries and CandleOutlineColorSeries. For example:

			BarColorSeries[0] = Color.Transparent;
			CandleOutlineColorSeries[0] = Color.Transparent;

Is there a way to do it all at once without going bar by bar? Is there a more efficient way to do this?

As the bars process in OnBarUpdate() they would be one at a time. If you want to color the entire historical and real-time series of bars you could use the following:

			if (Close[0] > Open[0])
			{
				for (int i = CurrentBar-1; i >= 0; i--)
				{
					BarColorSeries[i] = Color.Transparent;
					CandleOutlineColorSeries[i] = Color.Transparent;
				}
			}
			else
			{
				for (int i = CurrentBar-1; i >= 0; i--)
				{
					BarColorSeries[i] = Color.Black;
					CandleOutlineColorSeries[i] = Color.Black;
				}
			}

The code above would check the close against the open and if it is greater than color all bars transparent, if not all bars are black.
