    Does Stochastic calculate on close?

    Hi Guys,
I'm curious whether the standard stochastic referencing [int barsAgo] where barsAgo = 0
    1. Will take the close of the current bar.
    2. Will take a snapshot of the current stochastic value on bar update and once code is run to that point. (assuming on bar update is used).
    3. Will return true if in the example shown the stochastic passes below 20 for a short period of time during the bar before closing above 20 at the end of the bar.
    As an example:
    Stochastics(14,3,3).D[0]<20

-My main interest is the answer to number 3.

Thanks and hope I'm not too confusing.

Depends on the setting you loaded the indicator with. If you choose Calculate On Bar Close then it will only calculate once at the end of each bar. If you choose Calculate On Bar Close to be false it will calculate at each incoming tick so it is completely feasible for you to get multiple crosses within a single bar.
