Error exporting protected indicator

I am trying to export an indicator with NT8

I have protect compiled assembly checked

I get an error that reads like this

"Error occured protecting your assembly: C:\Program Files (x86)\SecureTeam\AgileDotNet.Console.exe"

Any ideas?

Can you please confirm that you have the appropriate version of AgileDotNet for NinjaTrader installed? You can view purchase options for AgileDotNet at this link: http://secureteam.net/Agile-for-NT-Pricing.aspx

For further clarification, do you have CliSecure installed on the computer as well? If this is the case, you will need to uninstall both CliSecure and AgileDotNet and only install AgileDotNet.

I have NT7 installed on this computer and NT8 installed.
I have been using CliSecure with NT7 without a problem.

From your answer, I understand a couple of things:
1. NT8 does not have a free obfuscator like we had in NT7
2. I can't have NT7 and NT8 running on the same computer if I want to export protected assemblies

You will need to utilize AgileDotNet with NinjaTrader 8 to protect your code.

You can have both NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 running on the same computer without issue. However, there is an issue with having both AgileDotNet and CliSecure installed at the same time, per this forum thread: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum....php?t=79395#9
