Custom Template BarsSinceSession error

Im looking at ES and I have a custom session template that starts at 6:30AM PST, ends 1:15PST, starts again at 1:15PST until 6:30AM the following morning.

The problem is that Bars.BarsSinceSession does not reset at 1:15PST. It continues to count up. At 6:30AM PST Bars.BarsSinceSession resets back to 0 everyday. Am I doing something wrong?

This is due to the Bars.BarsSinceSession counting the bars since the first session open of the trading and not each new session within a day.

You can however use Bars.FirstBarOfSession to verify if the new bar is the first of a new session regardless of trading day.

For example:

			if (Bars.FirstBarOfSession)
			{
				Print("");
				Print(Time[0]);
				Print(CurrentBar);
			}
