    Time/time events from x-axis?

    Is it possible update an indicator from time events on the x-axis rather than with OnBarUpdate()? I would need something like "OnTimeUpdate()" instead to "drive" my indicator.

    Hello Freen, and thank you for your question.

    We can see all the event methods built into NinjaScript on the following page, under the letter O.



    As you can see, such a method is not part of NinjaScript out of the box. However, NinjaScript does support the methods ToTime() and ToDay(), which I will provide documentation for here :




    You could use these inside OnBarUpdate() with CalculateOnBarClose set to false, to allow you to make your own event callback. I will provide a small example, which will call OnMyTimeWindow() every second between 8 AM and 9 AM,

    {
      // your code here
    }
    
    protected override void OnBarUpdate()
    {
      if (80000 <= ToTime(Time[0]) && ToTime(Time[0]) <= 90000)
      {
        OnMyTimeWindow();
      }
