Instrument price format

Hello, Is it possible to detect in an indicator if an instruments formats a price in decimals or fractionals? Or, is there a function which returns me a price formatted correctly, e.g. in decimals for TF and fractions for ZB? What's the recommended and most universal solution? My question applies to both NT7 and NT8, if the solutions differ. Thank you.

Thanks for your post.

For both NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 you can add on formatting that will automatically convert the decimal to fractional when looking at a bond chart and will switch to decimal when looking at an instrument that reports in decimal.

For NinjaTrader 8 those same changes (converted to NinjaTrader 8) have been created in an indicator that is a partial class (install in your Ninjatrader but no need to apply to the chart as it will always be there and will apply automatically.
