Alert Text Color Wiped when Save Template

I have a chart with a built-in indicator SMA and an externally developed indicator MAENearAlert. MAENearAlert was extended to take the Alert Background Color as an input; and suddenly once a either: a) Template is created, or b) the Workspace is saved then the chart is brought up again, the Alert Background Color and the Alert Text Color are being both being set to "White" (which results in the text being displayed as "Black"). I have never before experienced NT changing the Chart Parameters when the file is saved. The MAENearAlert code does not modify these settings to "White" after the User defines them.

I have never had this happen before, and am confused as to why this is happening.
