Volume Indicator / Horizontal

I am new to NinjaTrader and still have not yet successfully written my first indicator, let alone strategy. That being said. is there a tutorial and/or video that illustrates how to write a script to display volume of sales based on ask/bid, buy/sell at individual prices/ticks and displayed as horizontal bars?? Thanks in advance!

Regrettably there is no specific Ninjatrader tutorial that would meet your needs. Your needs are very specific and approach a somewhat complex set of conditions. The tutorials we provide are to demonstrate the basic concepts of indicators and strategies.

If you would like to take on learning NinjaScript, we have a fully documented help guide which will help you get started with Ninja Script. You will find language references to all of the methods and functions you will be using. You will also see a tutorial section which will help you create your first indicator and get you started with some of these concepts.

These samples can be downloaded, installed and modified from NinjaTrader and hopefully serve as a good base for your custom works.

In addition, you may want to look at the Ninjatrader indicators: BuySellVolume, VolumeProfile, VolumeZones.
