    Highest ?!

    Hi,

I want to calculate the highest chart value from the last x bars (x is a parameter)
    How could I do ?

Furthermore, I want to code an "If" loop and I don't know how to code this :

If number of bars on chart > period

Please take a look at this method: HighestBar()

      Better use

      MAX(High, X)[0]

        highest high

Im making my first foray into ninja coding and am trying to set a condition so it enters as long as its below the highest high of N bars. The way I would think its written is

        if High[0] < HighestBar(high, N)

but it also looks as if

        if High[0] < MAX(high,N)[1]

is also correct. Which one would I be better off using?

Returns the number of bars ago the highest price ...

Returns the highest value over the specified period
