    Energy Type Instruments

Is there a way to find or check if the instrument belongs to energy type of instruments programmatically?

    Hello edward_bell,

    Thanks for your post.

You could access the instrument name and compare against a list of known energy instruments.
Here is the helpguide information on Instrument class: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...instrument.htm

Also here is Instrument type: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...trument_in.htm
