Combine indicators into one?

I want to aggregate a few indicators.

So I'll make a custom indicator and I need to it have both ADX and SMA.

Based on those values will return a simple 1, 0, -1 (long, flat, or short respectively)

How can I add ADX and SMA to the indicator?

I tried Add( ADX(90)) but that gives an error.

You woud have to create a plot for each indicator and then assign the value of the ADX to this plot.

Thanks. Now I'm finding that the SMA and ADX plot either in panel 2 or panel 1. Neither of that works. I need SMA in panel one and ADX in panel 2.

How do I do that?

Not sure I follow.

- A custom indicator will plot in what ever panel you apply it in

I'm adding plots into a custom indicator.

One plot I want in pane 1 and the other in pane 2.

Okay. I already gave up.

What about my other problem post? The adx High and Low DataSeries don't get set when ADX is within another indicator which is also within a strategy.

Help.
