Protecting Bar Type's and Vnedor Licensing

Is it possible to export indicator assemblies using vendor licensing and have CliSecure obfuscation working for custom made bar types please?

Hello TB,

Thanks for your post.

An indicator can be exported using vendor licensing.
The vendor license check is one line of code that goes in the Initialize part of the script.
You can also apply CliSecure to an exported indicator.


However, it is not possible to export a bar type with NinjaTrader 7. (Since it cannot be exported using NinjaTrader 7, CliSecure cannot be applied)


NinjaTrader 8, will support custom bar types and these can be exported with vendor licensing and can have CliSecure applied.
