export without additional references

I have exported an indicator compiled assembly of my source file.

I get one warning message about my library can only be imported with other assembly(s).

I see the AdditionalReferences.txt file inside the zip file.

But my indicator doesn't depend on the other assemblies dll files.

How can I export it without the other libraries?

Hello David,

Thank you for your post.

This is due to any assemblies in your installation that you exported from. you can create a development installation to export from instead of your own build that you use for other third party assemblies.

To create a new installation shut down NinjaTrader, uninstall NinjaTrader through the Start Menu > Control Panel > Programs and Features, then rename the NinjaTrader 7 folder in your (My) Documents folder to something like NinjaTrader 7.OLD.

Then reinstall NinjaTrader and start up NinjaTrader, this will create a new installation and will ask you for your License Key. Export your NinjaScript files from the new installation. Switch between these two by shutting down NinjaTrader and renaming the NinjaTrader 7 folder to something else and the other directory back to NinjaTrader 7.

Should I copy my My documents/NinjaTrader 7 folder in other folder before to uninstall NinjaTrader?

I'm not sure If I can lost any indicator/workspaces/.. after the uninstall.

Thank you for your response.

As long as you rename the original (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7 folder after the uninstall you will not lose your files or settings.
