Problem drawing in the margin

Hi,

I'm having a problem drawing in the margin on the chart. Specifically, using lines or rectangles I can draw from, say, bar -1 to bar -2, or even from bar -1 to bar -10 if my margin is wide enough. However, if my left hand bar is anything further to the right than -1 it does not draw. For example I cannot draw from -2 to -3, there are no errors but the object simply doesn't appear.

Just noticed... if, after drawing the objects, I scroll the chart left then the missing drawing object appears.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your note.

This is to be expected with drawing objects and drawing into the future.

The reason for this is that if the anchors are not visible then the object would not be plotted.

When you moved the chart to the left then the anchors became visible and were able to plot the object.

Yes this is possible. It would require custom drawing and coding for this.

I would very much like to draw a fib in the margin, do you have any examples or can point me in the right direction? the last posted link just brought me to the home page of the eco system
