I would like to know how to change the RSI indicator from a SMA to EMA can you tell me how to do that? Thanks

Hi 1chtrader, thanks for your post.
You could create a copy of the RSI script, then on lines 78 and 79 change the 'SMA' to 'EMA', then compile this new script. This would then reference the EMA indicator rather than the SMA indicator.

As the original RSI indicator is a system indicator and by default will reference the SMA indicator, this will always be present on your system, as it is not possible to save direct modifications to the default system indicator. Your RSI indicator changed to reference the EMA indicator will be a copy of the original, so it will be present as well. So, just by creating a copy, you'll have both on your system.
